Nail Alley files your nails to a desired shape and length with detailed cuticle prep work using high quality Erica's ATA diamond coated tools on the e-file. Finishing off your visit with a coat of Designer Nail cuticle oil. Removal of another salon's products is an additional $30.00 on your appointment.

These Foundation courses have been designed to cater to complete beginners who've never touched nail products before and are wanting to pursue a Nationally Recognised Qualification.

If you're a quick learner or already have confidence in nail products before pursuing professional education, there are always additional ways to enhance and broaden your knowledge. My one-on-one classes at Nail Alley will thoroughly cover each module of the Nail Handbook, ensuring you gain the maximum benefits from your Nail Tech Education.

Gel Polish Technology Foundation Course

This course covers the theory behind nails and the basics of doing a manicure with Gel Polish from start to finish — including prepping the natural nail properly, applying the product tidily and removing gel safely. You will receive a full take-home kit at your first class, and gain 2× Designer Nails certificates that allow you to work as a nail technician either in a salon or at home, and purchase professional product.

Gel Nail Technology Foundation Course

As well as everything included in the Gel Polish Technology course, the Gel Nail Technology course also includes Gel Extensions and E-File training. Gel Extensions are a great way to offer length to your clients without needing to learn all of the theory and application behind building an extension from scratch. E-File is an incredible tool that can help you to prep cuticles cleanly and save your wrists from the intensity of hand-filing when you remove or infill product. You will receive a full take-home kit at your first class, and gain 4× Designer Nails certificates that allow you to work as a nail technician either in a salon or at home, and purchase professional product.

Builder Gel Master Class Up-skill Class

Builder Gel is one of the most popular products on the market at the moment — learn how to properly structure a Builder Gel manicure to add strength to clients' nails and create a beautiful set of nails. This Masterclass covers shaping/structure and its importance, how to apply product to build said structure, hand-filing techniques for refining structure, and how to infill your manicure and re-build the structure for a fresh set. You will receive a Certificate of Builder Gel Mastery upon completion of this class (or your course if you're adding this on to a Foundation training).

Ali, nail technician and educator at Nail Alley Waipu

I am Ali, the sole Nail Technician, Director and Educator at Nail Alley Waipu.

Like many of us, 2020's lockdown gave me a chance to reflect on my life and make some big moves. I got married, bought a house, underwent my 2nd round of IVF and moved to Waipu — which led me to start thinking long-term about my passions, and what I would like to do for work.

I started doing nails in 2021 and am now a highly qualified Nail Tech and Educator for Designer Nails.

Nail Alley offers high quality, one-to-one professional services in the comfort of a beautiful home salon right in the heart of Waipu.
